POLARIS

The Polaris Meter from Aspen of Japan is an uncomplicated flash and ambient meter with an easy to read oversized display showing exposure values with 1/10 stop accuracy. A sliding dome diffuser switches operation from incident to reflected measurement and calculations can be displayed showing shutter speeds, aperture values or EV as well as having a multiple flash calculation facility. The Polaris meter also has a custom calibration so that you can easily set the unit to your own preference depending on your camera or shooting style. Clip on accessories are also available separately to add the following features:
SpotView 10
The spotview 10 adds a viewfinder and 10 degree spot metering facility to your Polaris meter, making it one of the most competitively priced spot meters on the market.
Flat Diffuser
This flat diffuser clips onto the Polaris meter giving the facility to measure incident readings from directional lights to work out lighting ratios more accurately than with a dome diffuser or for flat artwork etc.

The Polaris Dual 5 meter from Japanese manufacturer Aspen offers unprecedented value for a meter with a built in 5 degree spot meter and a rotating viewfinder. Its uncomplicated operation and oversized backlit display give clear and precise readings to 1/10 accuracy for your subject measurement in Ambient (spot reflected reading or incident), Corded /Non corded flash (spot reflected reading or incident) as well as having a multiple flash calculation facility.

This slim meter is supplied with an adapter for luminance readings and can also be calibrated to your own custom requirements depending on your camera and shooting style.
