Seculine Prodisc II and Prodisc Mini

  • White Balance filter,  Colour Balance card and Grey card
  • Three colour management tools in one convenient device
  • Lightweight and slim design
  • Pocket sized solution or studio solution

Prodisc II and prodisc Mini are two new solutions to help photographers make the most of their Digital photographic equipment by shooting perfectly colour balanced images in the camera to aide and speed up their digital workflow.

As a photographer the last thing you want to be doing is wading through hundreds of images, correcting the colour balance on each one when this simple and effective solution could have created perfect images in the camera saving hours of work.
Colour Balance is often ignored but is the simplest and easiest way to improve your images using Prodisk II or Prodisk Mini. Whether you want to use the White Balance filter to set the cameras Custom White balance function to capture sharp and vibrant images, or whether you want to use the grey card or colour card in conjunction with a colour/grey picker in your editing application, then ProDisk is for you.
Its slim design allows it to easily fit into a pocket and its lightweight construction makes it easy to carry around.  It even has a neck strap supplied with it so that you always have it at hand.  Prodisk’s folding design encases the important filter, grey card and colour card, protecting them from damage when not in use and also give a great “handle” to hold when using the White Balance filter.

Using Prodisk II and Prodisk Mini for White balance Measurement

  • Turn on your DSLR camera.
  • Set the focus mode to MF (to prevent the AF system hunting for focus through the opaque filter materiel).
  • Set the camera’s White Balance mode* to CUSTOM or PRESET.
  • Turn the cameras lens towards the light source illuminating your subject and hold the Prodisk filter in front of the lens. Fire the shutter* to take a White Balance reading.
  • With the new Colour temperature reading set you are ready to start shooting.

Note * Please refer to your specific cameras instruction manual for full details of how to set a new custom White Balance reading.
