Negatives and slides to be scanned

Most people either own or have been left boxes of old film negatives and slides.

Everyone should make it a priority to scan these old images and here’s why…

Preserve Historic Images Forever:
Negatives, slides and prints will all degrade over the years. They will fade and often become stained or speckled. Scanning them gives you the opportunity to preserve the images forever and even improve them back to their original state using editing software.

Family Memories:
Anyone who has been involved in researching their family history will find it invaluable to convert old analogue film and slides into digital files. These can be edited, printed and shared with all your family so everyone has a copy.

Photo Gifts:
Scanning those old images preserves them and lets you make ideal gifts for special family occasions. Why not produce a photobook, calendar, mug or other photo gift to help make a special personalised birthday, wedding or other celebration.

Social Media Sharing:
Digitised negatives and slides lend themselves perfectly to sharing via social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Share historical pictures of your family or places with all your followers.
